Who does what
The human
Chooses every story idea. Decides the characters, the plot and the ending. Reviews each stage and approves it before the next one starts, and has the final say before anything is published.
The AI tools
Help research what readers are looking for, draft the outline and the chapters, write the blurb, and check every chapter for consistency, style and typos. Covers are created with AI image tools, directed and chosen by a human.
The steps
-
Idea. We look at what readers search for and choose one story worth telling.
-
Plan. A short brief and a chapter by chapter outline, approved before any writing starts.
-
Draft. Chapters are drafted with AI assistance, a few at a time.
-
Review. Each group of chapters is checked automatically, then reviewed and approved by a human before the next group is written.
-
Finishing. Blurb, cover and PDF, each approved on its own.
-
Publishing. A book goes live only after a final check on the site.
What each label means
Human-written
A person wrote the text. AI tools were used for small things only, like spelling checks.
AI-assisted
A person planned the story and made the key decisions, and AI tools helped write the text.
AI-generated, human-directed
AI tools wrote most of the text, following a plan set by a person, who reviewed and approved every chapter.
Our promises
-
Every book page tells you how that book was made.
-
We never say or suggest a book was written entirely by a person when it wasn't.
-
Our author names are pen names, one for each kind of story, so you always know what you're picking up. We don't use fake photos or invent life stories for them.
-
Our books are clean or closed door. No explicit scenes, ever.
-
We keep our notes, outlines and drafts for every book.
Questions about how a book was made? We're happy to answer them.
